If you’re struggling to rank #1 for your brand name among other websites with a similar or the same name, a rebrand to a more unique name or URL might give you a better chance of getting to the top. Before you begin to use your keywords for real, it is important to narrow
down your long list of keyphrases yet further; to use them more efficiently
in combination with one another; and to ensure that the end
result is not unreadable garbage. Google Keywords, a tool within the Google AdSense website, allows you to track keywords and find keyword suggestions. Its that simple! which are usually three to four words in length. The longer the keyword, the more specific it is. That means lower competition and, often, higher conversion rates by nature. One of my firm beliefs is that Google is becoming more and more ‘human,’ and should be treated that way. This means that in all your SEO efforts, you should consider the use for us human visitors first, and then check if that aligns with any SEO recommendations. Google is getting smarter – to the point of becoming an AI with a LOT of personal information about its uses. On regular pages and posts, Google will most probably grab a piece of related content, including the keyword used in the search query. That makes a lot of sense for news sites, for example. Still, I recommend adding a meta description to all your important pages. Google penalizes websites that are too slow to load as this result in a bad user experience. Load times are essential in that sense to coordinate with your IT or web guy about taking off some non-essential items that can slow your site down. If you have a WordPress site, though, you can sit back and relax as a sitemap is already automatically generated and submitted to search engines for you. Every piece of content should have the user in mind. This also applies to SEO. You can’t create your next piece of content, or carry out keyword research, without knowing your audience.
